Story
We are a Baptist church founded in 1992 by immigrants from Ukraine who joined forces and sought to establish a Ukrainian church in Sacramento. The church grew and needed a building, which was purchased in 2005. Like every church, SOL had its trials and tribulations. In 2010. the construction and renovation of the house of worship began, which has greatly united the church and today allows us to have a large number of projects and 5 ministries. We love people and serve them, so today SOL has more than 30 projects, aimed at all ages and needs of people. More than 20 missionaries from our church are scattered in different parts of the world, where they spread the word of God and help those who need our support, especially in Ukraine, where we are able to contribute to the the development of local churches. We serve families in Ukraine and help children. The heart of the of the church are our church members, who today number more than 1,000, each of whom is part of our a part of our big family. We value relationships, hospitality, and love between each other, and each week about 1500 people attend our church. The big God does his work through us, the little people. We don't know you yet, but we already love you, and we invite you to to become part of our big SOL family.
